weekly mixtape: fingerpicked folk
This week, I thought that I would share some of my favorite comfort music for the cold winter months. Fingerpicked folk music, especially from nylon string acoustic guitars has such a timeless and melancholic sound that perfectly resonates with a covid winter season regardless of genre or release date. Some of my favorite artists that use this style include Fleet Foxes, Vashti Bunyan, Adrianne Lenker, The Tallest Man on Earth, and Natalia Lafourcade.
